What to expect from this training:

This unit of competency covers the functions required to prepare and operate a front end loader/backhoe to meet minimum training and assessment standards for the purposes of certification.

This unit involves planning the work for the prevailing working conditions, using the controls and operating systems to manage the operation of the equipment, locating the load and identifying the load characteristics, safely moving the load, monitoring the controls and stopping, shutting down and securing the equipment after the completion of operations.

    Through the combination of theory and practical training, this course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills required to safely operate a front end loader/backhoe.

    • Students must bring photo ID to the course (such as a drivers licence, 18+ card or passport)
    • Students should have a good understanding of written and spoken english
    • Students must  bring photo identification (such as a passport or drivers licence) to register for this course

    Important Information:

    • Students should have basic reading and writing skills (to be able to identify and interpret workplace signs)
    • Payment is required prior to the course commencing please contact us for details. EFTPOS facilities are available at our office
