Check your Competencies and Licence number
2To assist in meeting your employer obligations under various State OHS Act and Regulations, Koolat Safety can conduct “Verification of Competencies” (VOCs). A reminder that holding a licence to operate a machine or undertake a certain task doesn’t necessarily mean you are competent to operate that machine or to carry out that task. Another concern is the thousands of Queensland cancelled licences that were inappropriately issued and subsequently withdrawn.
Check to see if you or your QLD issued licence number is on this list. Please call us if you are on this list.
Koolat Safety commenced operations as an RTO in July 2007, when the prescribed occupations system was transferred to the VET system. Focusing on providing the highest level of Quality Safety Training, Koolat Safety offers a wide range of courses across the scope of all High Risk Work, specialising in Tower Crane Training, Crane Training and specialised Rigging Courses as well as delivering Units of Competency from National Training Packages. This helps meet the Best Practice principles from the 1997 National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry in accordance with the Australian Government Implementation Guidelines for the National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry, August 2009.
